I know the feeling, tbh i dont do massive mileage but ive got an itch to fettle a TDI for some nice low down torque and the luxury of not having to fill up every week.

Yh, I do 40 miles a day and 280 mile round trip to Cardiff twice a month. Ads up! And I also want a shines new car lol

mk5's are very tempted but probably out of my budget for a decent specced one.  Im swaying towards a late mk1 Seat Leon Cupra TDI FR.

Yh I looked at mk1 Leon's as I've always liked them.  then looked into borrowing some cash for a mk2 Leon, but didn't like the interior so desided that the mk5 was cheaper and nicer inside, so landed on getting a gt tdi. It will most probably be in the summer

So next problem with the golf. I have a hole in my radiator. Been loosing coolent slowly for the last two weeks, but been waiting for a dry day to look for leaks. Annoying but at least I knw it's not the head gasket. That's my job for next weekend
