There are 3 shows that are coming up over the next couple of months, that always seem to have a good amount of cars for sale, so good hunting ground for a decent MK2, so a bit of Googling, and a bit of traveling, may turn up trumps for you

My cousins show in Norfolk VW Whitenoise is this weekend, there were a good handful of motors there for sale last year. 3rd-5th August

Also there is VW Action at the end of the month 31st August - 2nd September.
