Manual clutch cable

hi there had the new clutch and auto cable fitted in my mk3 8v and the peddle sunk to the floor the other day and lots of slack now, so was gonna fit a manual cable as driven my mates and feels much better peddle. which cable do i have to order is it the mk2 gti 1.8 does anyone have a part number please.

Are you sure the release lever is all ok, seems strange it sunk to the floor.

If you wiggle the clutch cable you have about 3inches of clutch peddle then other times the peddle stays down but its acts like there is to much slack cable also if you grab the cable from bulk head there is like 5 inches of slack
