Literally like a ostrich had shat on it head to toe, it needed drastic action! Won't be parking it there again. Will def pick up a portable spray/towel.

Had a local car wash clean my mk4 few years ago and they put a scratch right thro to primer, prob is they use the big tubs full of soapy water witch is full of dirt and crap from about 100 cars  before yours, I found a local car wash after and keep my own buckets wash MIT there witch they use. Def keep dropping wipes in car if u love your motor,

Ed35 chunk/Flying Haggis - Gents please - I don't believe it, you leave your own bucket and wash mitt at a car wash and Flying Haggis is obviously too lazy to wash bird poo off his car for 4 days then takes it to a car wash where they cause damage. Why don't you guys wash your cars yourself as all real car lovers do?  I wouldn't trust a car wash to get within 100 metres of my motors.

+1, I am the only one who washes my car and I would not use a pressure washer on mine either as it just strips any wax off the paint. If you wash them regularly (once a week) and get the bird poo off quickly then there should be no probs in keeping your pride a joy at its best.

Glad to see this post isn't about forum member nudity through the windscreen.

Sucks mate, though I do know hard it is to find time to clean a car, 4 hours it took me portaging water form a second storey flat on Saturday morning.

Makes those Acid Spraying Albanian's seem quite cheap on the hourly rate figure.
