The theories are great but don't thing I could ever use them. I use showroom shine after I've washed, leathered.

What the Grease Lightening stuff? cus If so that's the waterless product I used...it was blinking annoying when it came to washing my grille as it wud leave white marks regardless of how much I buffed it...

I was tempted to try the Megs waterless wash stuff. I got the bloke to demonstrate it to me on the stand at Inters on their quite dirty, black A5. It looked very good as he did it...then the sun came out.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Yeah that's it, the trick is for the awkward bits it apply it to a cloth before hand. It's the nuts for black tar spots.

I know I seem to maybe be bashing the stuff, which I don't mean to as it quality stuff...I brings out a fantastic shine regardless of what colour your motor is....my bro used a lot of it when I had some last and all I keep hearing is "are get the next lot" still blinking asnt put his hand in his pocket

Have you tried the side test? You simply cannot lean against your motor(not that I due it often lol) I just make a point of it when cleaning my motor to test how good the finnish is!!!
