Sorry Chuff didn't mean to get your goat. Believe it or not I tried a search but found nothing... Just keen to see if anyone had any projects on the go but perhaps I should look elsewhere  :embarassed:

haha glad to hear it. I have indeed been on said forum but I thought I'd broaden my horizons, I like a good look at a tidy specimen as much as the next person. Beginning to think my next GTI might have to be a shiny and sleek one  :cool:

I think a lot of people on here dont understand the rat look, it isn't just rusty cars, the proper rats are good metal underneath that has been treated so the rust no top doesn't damage it. A lot if not more work goes into a nice rat than just washing and polishing a 'normal' car

Though that being said I agree that it doesn't work on a lot of newer cars and all these half arsed 'rat look' pieces of crap around lately are just plain ugly!

imo this is a decent modern rat
