Alloy Wheel refurbs?£££?

barry: how comes you got them done it silver? Should have went for a diffrent colour?
Did you want to keep it looking original? (you got an anniversary)

the wheels were in the boot of my mk4 when i got it so had them re-done sparkle silver

i paid  £65 per wheel for my split rims & they was farked!! As you know bbs rx2's corroded like a cun7! I got them powder coated & the bolts have been polished. Theres a place in bordesley green in bham called sweeney sherlock & i think they charge £25-£35 per wheel.

Bored of them now ,so either a colour change or a wheel swap of somekind

Took my wheels to a powder coaters in leic today,there gonna refurb them for £150.Thats for all 4wheels.

thats a good price. But like everyone will tell you, make sure the company is rated. Have a look at some of their wheels that they are in process of doing & have done. They will be more then happy to show you the process & the finish. What are they gonna do to them? Shot blast them & powder coat or spray them?

Didnt think id be able to do a very good job of them really,plus would have took a lot of time i think.
