« on: 25 July 2012, 23:19 »
Hey guys car been alittle strange lately. Put it down to the warm air an stuff but today i decided to run my vag lite and got 3 errors.

 P1137
Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Rich

17704
 P1296
 Cooling system malfunction

17705

Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose

Any idea on how these can be fixed? I have had the 17705 error before and both DV (stock one) and MAF where changed for brand new.

How many miles has your beast done? Depending on milage it could be the water pump. Had same code on my Leon cupra and it cured it :) common problem on these :) turbo could be as little as the hose has come loose so check that before going too far into it :) hope this helps :) Lanf.

How long does it take for your engine coolant temperature to get to 90? I have has the middle code in the past and the thermostat was stuck open so the car would only get up to 90 in traffic. Changed the thermostat cleared the code and everything was fine

Thinking about it the first and second code could be related as it will run rich if not up to temperature and the car is telling you over time it has been running too rich

Now that you mention it, My temp hardly EVER hits 90 most of the time its ALWAYS just below 90 or if it does go to 90 it will drop alittle after a while of driving.

do the temp sensor first as you dont lose much coolant, thermostat you lose loads.
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)
