very high idling
« on: 25 July 2012, 18:32 »
ello!

well i only just got my golf up and running last week and its already playing up again.

after a new clutch, oil sills on the gearbox and rocker cover, oil sensor plug & ICV (which was a royal pain) on the drive home i notcied it was difficult to stop when braking.
when i stopped it was idling at 2000rpm! and slowly rising. miffed  as i said i recently changed the ICV because it was idling all over the place and trying to stall. the new ICV sorted that and i've been driving about for a week now.

i'm not too sure what it is but somethings telling me its the throttle body but i wanted to make sure it couldnt be something else so has anyone else got some easyer (an cheaper) suggestions for me?

thanks!
