Fuel pump question.

I changed my fuel pump and now my gauge works opposite. Full is empty and empty is full. I took it bak out and it's still the same do I have to have the clocks reset or something.

i can't help, but that's quite funny hahaha. if that was my car, it would be 3 quarters full most the time :grin:

The weird ting is that my mates Ibiza turbo is exactly the same. So thought I'd post on here to see if anybody new.

Could the sender wires be opposit on the different pumps so you may have to cut and switch the 2 wires over?? (proper guess as don't even know how many wires come off it lol)

That's the first thing I thought too.. swap the wires over  :grin:

That was the rat thing I did was swop wires round and still the same

sender is part of the basket the pump sits in so you'll have to find those wires inside, they aren't the ones on the top
