Dubmister
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Dubmeister is afaik the only place to get legal pressed plates, and yes they will fit in the surrounds and imo are a must as drilling metal plates looks crap

Not against the fines you get for running dodgy plates.

I got mine imported from germany through eBay and are plain pressed with German font. Havent had any issues as yet and Ive had two police officers looking over my car and talking to me aout it and they werent mentioned once. MOT tester didnt even pick up on it so I guess people are stupid or I'm lucky... Or both!
It says location up there ↖

I got some from this guy but not put them on the car yet:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pressed-Metal-GB-number-plates-100-ROAD-LEGAL-/120912712837?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c26f59485

Delivered really quickly, good quality, reflective and have all of the necessary markings but not 'legal' I guess because no documents were shown. Not interested in 'german look' or anything, just thought they looked a bit smarted than the cracked plastic ones I already had.
