I ran 12.6 in my tuned R and I bet I have more hp then yourself, something isn't right with that slip I'm afraid and before you bash my driving I just use launch control on my dsg and it physically won't go faster, I Carnt understand how a car with your mods and front wheel drive would beat my time down strip

The R is much heavier than a fwd car and could be the reason. You need to know how to launch and drive a fwd car.

Same engine so might not be that different?

4wd will get going quicker but weight advantage will enable the lighter car to catch up.
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro

Great pic that. Hoosiers really do produce great times.

What power are you putting down ?

182kph is 112.8 mph which would probably mean you are over 300whp and by the launch reaction delay I'd guess you are DSG too. Am I right?

Thanks, my car makes around 340whp and it is DSG. My 60ft times are bad. I have seen guys run 1.8 60ft with Hoosiers.

So, you must also have an updated hpfp too and be stage 2+, yeah?

I have stage 2+ with the upgraded hpfp. Going to upgrade the cooler soon as I still have the stock cooler. Going to fit a THS cooler.

Launch Control in my K04 is worthless with my Contis. I ran it @ Inters for 1 run and ran a 13.8. I was spinning in 1st and 2nd. Didnt even go the whole distance @ WOT. Not to mention the strip surface sucked.  I only did 1 run due to the accident but If I rev to 3k and manually shift I do alot better.
The WMI lets you run APRs 100 octane file.
What brand of WMI do you have? I know the owner of Devils Own and he is a jackhole. Its gonna be my next mod but not his. Where do you live??

Wait you have a GTI with an upgraded HPFP?? Why??? I know the Rs need them but they are a totally different engine despite what the engine cover says. Are you K04 or Stage 3?  Even with Satge 3 you dont need it untill you hit 3+.
I am K04 and have no issues without the upgraded HPFP.
