Will 17inc wheels fit a mk3 that has been lowerd 40mm with out rubbing scraping or to much damage

I don't generally have any probs but i get a tiny bit off scuffing on the outer wall of the tyre. No damage just wears away the info. I also have 205 40 17 maybe you could try 195 40 17

That's good enuf for me lol got a set of 15s to go on but been offers sum 17s so keeping 15 for other project lol

I have 17" but will be going down to 16" so I can have 9" wide at the rear  :cool:

All depends on the offset of the wheels, et35 will be fine anything else will be a little tight.

16s get my vote, they look about right for the arch, any bigger and it will look a bit tonka!
