Yep same car. It's Dr Gonzo which was built by Mike Pye of volksworld.

Think he sold it last year and the new owner has changed it round to how it is now which is fair enough, but i preferred it blue.

I desperately love it and I am so keen to do a retro US style motor of some description. The white walled wheels and steel bowls are just perfect. I'd love to own a Beetle in a similar aesthetic vane, and I'd
love a Porsche engine in it.
