« on: 20 July 2012, 20:26 »
Borrowing a arch roller and really dont want to mess it up. i dont need much doing just a slight rub on rear and when steering at front. looked on youtube and seen on a mk4 you cant really roll the rear is this the case on a mk3?

another question i have is should i take off the arch liner thing? and keep them off? thanks people.

Ps did actually search ;-)

Tips

Tip 1) dont call them fenders

That is all

P.s you can do the rear but depending how much you do the paint will crack

Get a heat gun and heat the paint then roll, it won't crack.
I cut the liners and put them back in.

Take your time and do little bit at a time.

No touching up will be required as long as you get the arch hot enough, when i did mine i got them so hot as you could not touch it for very long,no cracking

do i take out the lining stuff as its came away anyways!

this is all just a test on my front arches as they need replacing due to rust but though id see how it goes before i replace them!
