Guys did the 1.8 16v have the same running gear as the 2.0 16v
my car was a valver but now a vr6 and i am having issues with my hi spec brake discs

all mk3 Gti's were 2.0, the mk2 was 1.8 and was 4 stud fit

thats good then, i cant find any docs in my cars paper work to say what engine it had.
I found a reciept for kr cams! but that is 1.8 engine

Maybe it is running KR cams, they can be fitted in an ABF
