way too cheap

anyhow

MK4 box will fit (as i have a bespoke box in my car now but it is based on a MK4 item)

MK4 driveshafts only fit on the passenger side, drivers side (long side won't fit as its longer on mk4 4)  - I also know this as this is what i run on my car. MK4 GTI on passenger side, drivers side is MK3 16v

What's a convertion? I'm guessing they are offering a different service to the 1.8T conversion you're talking about.

Anyway, seems way too cheap, sure they aren't just gonna stick a 16v engine in and a 20vt cover to go over the top?

I cant honestly see how you can get it done that cheap. If your starting with a 16v would be cheaper obv. How much was your exhaust and things?

what about TIP ?  approx £100, diverter £100 (unless u get a copy or use bothe the standard TIP and diverter - bab tho)) Air filter £100 (unless u get something sh!te and restrictive?

VR6 clutch?  could use your old valve one but thats just cutting big corners IMO

New engine mounts ?  again cutting massive corners using old ones

New stretch bolts for flywheel ?  around £30 new bolts for clutch £can remember

All the new gaskets for engine manifold, turbo TB etc etc

New service parts, decent oil, filter, Coolant (G12 plus plus) non of this is cheap - appros £100 their

Cambelt ?   Waterpump, ? tensioners ?, Aux belt ?

loads of bits off your list you have missed unless you are cutting huge corners which i would not personally do
