Rear lights help please

bought a set of l.e.d rear lights clear and red of ebay .. arrived yesterday morning fitted them went to work came back dead battery!!!!! jumped my car checked and when the lights are off or even with the key
out the ignition the side lights stay on :-/ also the passenger side indicator is ravin mad! now theres 5 plugs on the new lights only one that my loom fits and they say plug and play?!  am i doin somethin wrong or faulty lights?? need to no before i start shoutin my mouth off to the seller!!

ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

there brand new aparantley??  :huh: plus i put
my old bulb carriers back in everythings hunky dorey everytime i get
out the car i have to unplug the rear lights otherwise battry dies!!! :(

strange one this, as there shouldnt be any power to the lights when the light switch is off. I know that if your indicator stalk is up(or down) this powers up the corresponding rear light as a parking light, but doubt thats the issue  :undecided:

thats what i thought???? but the rear o the lights are all rewired so i reckon some tit has put something in the wrong place.. like i say theyre sposed to be plug and play and thats the only plug that fits my loom thenothers are just left dangling down :-/

I thought with the LED versions you need to use the bulb holders they come with due to resistance etc

OP take pics of the new and old bulb carriers and post on here  :wink:
