drivers window

hi all im new to the golf seen but love the car lots

ok 1st prob the driverw window dose not work carnt hear motor working is it motor thats gone

2nd prob as its a 5 door the drivers side back winow  dont work had pannle off today motor works ok window was proped up with wood taken it out window falls down but cant see window cable bust any were 

its a mk3

The regulators are prone to failures on mk3s, and as the wires between the door and body to breaking.

Your rear window sounds like the regulator.
