AUM Big Turbo
« on: 18 July 2012, 23:04 »
Im going to be putting a big turbo (t04e) onto a AGU lump running AUM management (ME7.5)

I have a few questions I need to know in regards to fuelling and sensors such as the MAF.

What size injectors do I need?  Im going to be running around 400-450bhp so nice to have a bit overhead so they not running flat out at top duty cycle.

Am I going to need a Wahlbro 255lph inline fuel pump?  I currently have a uprated intake pump but not sure what LPH it flows.

What size MAF housing do I need?  Is there options of MAFless with me7.5 or does it cause too much hassle etc.

3" straight through exhaust?  Going to see if I can keep my remus backbox as I love the sound of it....but I guess it will be totally different sound with a extra 200bhp pushed through it.

Engine spec is going to be:  82mm JE 9.25CR pistons, IE forged rods, Supertech valvetrain, AGU head, AGU inlet, potentially IE street/drag cams, custom manifold with turbo above gearbox, T04e turbo, short 2.5" IC piping, new sensors and coilpacks.

Any advice would be appreciated :D

cams will be hard to come by at the moment there on back order

going to need bigger fuel pump immo bosch 044 and a swirl pot will surfice

what handling and braking mods have you done??? lsd etc etc

630cc siemens high impedance injectors will be fine

you can run either 3 inch maf or mafless but best to spk to the mapper doing the work they will suggest the best route

is the engine built yet

Not yet, on building it.

No idea what clutch, but will be a decent one.

No LSD for now, probably end up going 4wd in the distant future.

James who has a AGU t04e manages to run 12s at santa pod with no LSD, not the biggest amount of wheelspin.

Remember its how you drive it.

hear you.. but the LSD in mine made more than a huge difference and that was with less than 300bhp

ill be running around 350 hp in the next few days with my new set up and i think that will be the limit for my shell and set up before it becomes non usable power..

no point having it if u can't use it to full advantage (like been polite with the peddle )

look forward to your build tho mate, sounds good
