Unfortunately I have no one who can be a guarantor, I just rang admiral to see how much it would change over for a golf gti and they said £900 quid, but online when I am 19 I am getting quotes of £1300 quid for the year.

WTF swear they make prices up.

put it this way i got a qoute at 18 for a audi qauttro 2T for 1200£ its because all the youngens drive cars below a 1.4 theres more accidents in them therefore small cars are associated with young drivers expecialy certain makes and the insurance is sky hi, i can get a qoute on a R32 for £460 at aged 21. the bigger the car, the cheaper the insurance

i worked for Churchill and Directline Car insurance btw

I wouldnt agree with that, it comes down to where you live, how you store the vehicle (garaged or on a dark road next to a ginnel  )
how old you are, accidents, points, the insurance group of the car and the value of the car and of course modifications and security
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

statistically speaking age and car type come first then it filters down into the fields you have mentioned, mate had a 1.4 golf and his insurance was £2900, he now has the 2.0GTI and his insurance £1600-£1900 but most of that was due to a claim car vs. embankment during the winter  :lipsrsealed:

I pay that for my Golf, all mods declared, car parked on drive, 4000 miles a year, and around 6 years NCB and I'm 28 (1 ban )
