GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

i wouldnt like to comment on value... but with that spec you should have no probs shifting privately. I wouldnt trade in... you will only be gutted to see it marked up by 2k the following week.. and sold the week after!

The only real way is to look on Autotrader and Pistonheads and get a feel for what else is out there.


I wouldn't worry about trading-in as all that really matters is the cost to change.


I'm hoping to get either a good trade-in or a discount on the new car, either as long as I get one of them...

High teens would seem a fair price for a private sale if condition is top notch.

I'm pretty sure mine from the glass's guide with 42k and spec. was £15,800 private sell.
