Converting to hydro clutch (16v conversion)

Hiya, I've done some searching around on this but basically this is the job I'm dreading when doing my conversion. My questions are.

Firstly could someone talk me thru roughly what's involved in converting to hydro clutch.

How hard a job is it?

My car is only a 1.6 with no abs, will this affect connectin up the hydrolics?

Been told my mk3 is a later spec so I can use my clutch pedal, but wanna check, what am I looking for on the pedal?

its fairly straight forward, it uses the fluid from the brakes there should be a nobby bit of plastic on the reservoir to connect the master cylinder to, just cut this and put a bit of pipe on it, then run it to the cylinder

if you have a later model like you say there will be a plate on the bulkhead behind the clutch pedal that if I remember right is bolted on. just unbolt it and stick the master cylinder in there. I cant remember 100% how it fits onto the pedal I think it just clicks into the back of it, but I know it was easy enough when I did mine that I took no pics and didn't document it what so ever as I thought it was too easy 

thats pretty much it from what I can remember car side everything else is on the gearbox, just run the pipework from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder on the gearbox. You will need a hydraulic brake bleeding kit to bleed the fluid through the system as theres no way of pumping it through like the brakes

You might need a clip for the pedal. Cost me 77p from VW.

I remember one of the clips was a nightmare to get into the pedal but I'm pretty sure that was the brake pedal as the reason I needed the clip was because I broke the old one removing it, and I didn't need to remove anything from the clutch pedal. Maybe I lucked out and already had the clip in place but either way its not too hard the bit I had most trouble with was removing the old broken clip but as I say I'm pretty sure that was the brake pedal not the clutch pedal

you dont need to touch the brakes at all for the clutch I only removed mine as I had to remove the brake servo to feed my new loom through the bulkhead

I hate that brake pedal clip...... What a ballache. Destroyed mine taking it out too haha
