hi just a quick question will a gearknob and gaiter from a 8v gti fit my 16v
just looking at one on ebay and dont want to waste my money if it dont fit

Yes they will mate. Any from across the MK3 range will fit :)

get the anni 1. Looks lovely. Theres a few on the bay but just the knob was at 50+
