FMDV008 - Turbo Recirculation Valve
« on: 17 July 2012, 15:39 »
right i bought this FMDV008 - Turbo Recirculation Valve and i dont no what way it is suppose to go round as i been told to put it this way

but then over ppl tell me the over way :s

with it being the way it is in the pic it is a more sharper sound coming threw the filter

with it being the over way round it is alot louder and if i let of just over 5psi it will make a flutter sound threw the filter

i am running the FMDVRLK - Diverter Valve Relocation Kit as well

the engine is a 1.8t (180) AUQ

the way it is in the pic is correct, if you rotate 90 degrees you get a high pitch chirping sound, there are mixed views as to running it the 'wrong' way can damage the seal in the DV
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)
