Will lowering springs for a cabriolet 1999 T reg mk3 (mk3.5?) fit a 96 1.8 8v mk3 ,
Just wondering as seen some cheap and the owner thinks they fit ml3 hatch when I don't think they will

I believe so but the rear springs will be more heavy duty due to extra weight of the hood.

Probably not a smart move to get them then , don't want the rear bouncing and being solid ! Plus of thats correct it won't lower it as much being able to take more weight .

The cabrio weitec set I put on my 16v were wrong, the front was too stiff and sat too high.

Yes they will fit but the spring rates are all wrong.
