caliper rebuild kits, where from?

I have ford Callipers on the rear of my MK3, service kit was under a tenner a side.
Not sure what ford they are from, they are identical to the VW one except for a weight arm which hangs off them.
Its an easy job to do providing the hydraulic assembly is not to worn or damaged 

Thats interesting, as on the rear of mine I have one ford caliper and one vw for some reason.

They are a standard ATE/Lucas type part used across lots of makers, cant see VW using ford ones on new cars but maybe an after thought by VW service dealers who keep fixing seized rear callipers ?
I swapped my ford brakes over from my last Mk3 as the new Mk3 ones were fecked (VW ones)

Don't forget the ford galaxy has a 2.8 vr6 lump

Rear calipers will be the same for the 8 & 16v then if its kitted out the same as the VW VR6 cars though.

No not to hand, but I will have a look next time the wheels are off.
Best thing to do is look in a parts catalogue and see which fords take the same pads.

As Tweed siad they are from a Galaxy, when I looked into it a while back I was told they are only available from VW and they are different to other Fords.
