Vinyl Wrap.
« on: 15 July 2012, 12:50 »
Going to be doing this soon. Got the vinyl just got to free up a long weekend to do it.

Wondered if there was any interest on here for this and wondered if anyone else debated doing it? I was thinking of doing a write-up if people wanted?

Doing the whole car? Be good to read a detailed write up, crazy how it's possible to accurately follow all the bodywork angles!

Would love to wrap a whole car.. Ive done loads of little wrapping such as mini dash's and interior parts.. The key for me was good quality vinyl as i bought a load of cheap carbon off ebay and the stuff was shocking but then you use 3m vinyl and its amazing how much easier it is..

pics and guide a must

I'm thinking of doing my roof (to cover up lacquer peel), so I'd really appreciate a write up!

I'll get on it then!

Planning on getting thurday/friday off work and having a long weekend on it and hopefully get new wheels on too!

Yeah jv, whole car :) Mk3's are too bad looking at it. Bumpers, especially front, is going to be the hardest parts I think.

Proper wrap winyl from a proper company makes life easier, stuff is super stretchy and thick. Stuff I got I seen at sign show the other year, liked it a lot!

Me too! I think it'll tidy the car up and with the wheels should look much sexy rather than angry.

Looks awesome man!

Get a guide together when you can as well as what's needed

I'd like to do my roof before the end of summer if possible!
