Nice video driving a 140 mph on a public road and then posting it on a social network site. I'm sure the police will be knocking on your door shortly.
My friend took a video while he was on a track day and posted it on Facebook 3 weeks later he got a visit from the police to question him, he had to prove he was on private land by providing a statement from the track owner,

Great thread pmsl, ive not tried to top out on mine but i imagine it would do 140 ish as its quick to 100 but now you boys have got me doubting it, nevermind its all about the 0-70 imo!

the book speed for a mk4 150 bhp is 134 mph? and a 4mo is meant to do 146, so surley they cant be that much of a brick?
MK4 golf 1.8 turbo agu :)

Last time that I went 140mph I no longer felt that my half inch thingy (fully erect) was an issue. However, when I got home that night, I found that I was back to square one. Next time I had better try 160....  :drool:

This has got to be a wind up...hasn't it? Surely someone who is stupid enough to load a video up on their own facebook wall of something like that, is either a. wanting to be prosecuted, or b. faking it with a broken speedo  :wink:

I found the video to be interesting..

A. Bad camera man.

B. Poor quality graphics.

C. With A & B combined I couldn't make out if you were doing 30mph or 300mph.

ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

is this guy really still going on about his super fast car...... interesting  read... Next time I do 146mph, I wont share it with you guys on this site....lol :laugh:
