how long does it take to remove a mk4 1.8t engine? as the garage whos doing it me is charging me 8hrs labour.

to do it properly, so its in a reusable condition then I would say thats ok, but top end hours wise

Jst do it urself mate, otherwise if you can't then just bend over and be prepared to pay wat they ask. Simples. I wont have thought it be a £80 job tho

£57 x 8hrs remove and 5hrs to refit. does this sound ok?

i paid £400 to have one taken out one put back in and new timing belt water pump etc supplied and fitted hat was over 2 tears ago though

more time to remove than refit doesnt sound right
