You should be able to get a screen supplied and fitted for around the £100 mark, top tints blue and green are available, and set the car off nicely

Screens should always be "pulled in" with string/cord and not with a screwdriver! catch the edge of the glass, and its game over!

Sod running a scredriver along a painted, possible water-trapping area as well. Luckily mine was 110% mint when mine came out, but I've seen a lot that aren't, because they've been scraped in/out before on replacement. Fairy liquid, hands and string are as powerful as I'd get, certainly no feet and no screwdrivers!!

Worked fine for me. Same as I do rear screens. Never broke one yet. Touch wood

I'd kick out a rear screen, as they're toughened glass, but a front screen is laminated... you were lucky! :grin:

That 100 quid and fitted seems ok ,  :cool:

Where was that from? I need to get one too

I broke mine taking it out (accidently on purpose) it wasn't tinted and I put it in for an mot as the tinted one was cracked, hated it the whole time it was in so very uncarefully kicked it out from inside when i was stripping the car ready for the rebuild!!!
