mk3 golf vr6, a hot hatch?

in today standards its not I guess, but it most certainly was!

I would definitely say its a hot hatch even now, I don't think it was meant to compete with them as such, If anything I'd have said the Vento VR6 would have done that being a saloon.

i still class class the mk3 gti as a hot hatch and the vr6 is a red hot hatch. i dont look at todays cars and think of them as hot hatches. they all look the bloody same today. yeah they may be very fast but they all lack character.

What else have you been driving? I'd say the 16v is a hot hatch aswell, they both still keep up with a lot of new stuff
