R-tech do there own kit for the 1.8T with heat shield if I recall, looks similar to what I've seen on the TFSI engines on the S3 and LCR

The heat shields are available on ebay for around £25

Yup I bought a heatsHield from eBay worked perfect covered a large area and hardly any air escapes which means it keeps the filter cool... Il try and find the link it fits basically all mk4,s and s3 cupra etc

found one on flea bay looks the one im talkin about but
it says its for a cupra :-/ reckon it would fit the golfski??

Is that the one that goes behind the front bumper?
I have had one and found the filter too close to the floor for my liking, some people trim an inch or two off the bottom, but you dont get anymore gains from having a cone in the engine bay
