Rear LEDs - Can You Fit Without Coding? *FITTED*
« on: 11 July 2012, 18:05 »
Hi

I'm the proud new owner of a set of rear R LEDs.

At the minute I don't have access to a cable to code them.

As I'm like a kid at Christmas, my question is: -

Can I fit them then code them afterwards (i.e. to remove the fault lights/messages in the dash)?

or will I have to code them at the same time as I fit to avoid (a) damaging them or (b) them not working correctly?

Thanks

I fitted mine and ran the car for two weeks until I could get them coded, no problems, you just have to live with the warnings every time you start the car.

Nice one mate.

You'll find that when you park at night and you walk off you have a quick look at how brilliant they look.

Cheers Jim - I had to flick the unlock button on the remote just as I left the garage so I could see them light up one more time - the do look well and when I clean the car this weekend I think they'll look even better

Looks good....

Cheers - very happy - I've been hankering after this upgrade since I got the car :)
