cheers for all the help guys, now i no theres a lot on this forum about not running a atmospheric dump valve but i am still really confused i have spoke to few different specialist an they all say different things. you can run one because the ecu will alter wat it needs to for it to run with no problems. another person has said something about 2 air flow meters 1 before the turbo an 1 after which means it will run crap but someone i spoke to today said thats rubbish. an all people keep going on about is the forge recirculating valve. the thing is i am running an atmospheric dump valve at the mo have been for nearly a week an have had no problems at all. but im so confused on whether i should keep it or not im finding it very hard to find actual fact on weather it will upset the engine or not, only peoples opinions which will stem from other people opions.   52 plate AUM 1.8 turbo GTI cheers toby

tbh my mate in his 1.8t audi took the standard d/v out the tip, blocked the tip and has been runnin it like this for months, runs fine and sounds like an atmos........ deffo wasnt my idea  :lipsrsealed:  :grin:
