Best coil drop on springs with 16" anni wheels?

Ok my mate has desided he want me to lower his car in springs. His car is a standered anni with the 16" wheels how low can I go on springs without any arch problems?just so I no what size springs to get.

So will the wheels rub the arch if you go to low?

Why don't you measure the gap between tyre and arch then get springs to suit?

If they won't rub the arch then 80mm front 60mm rear.

Safe side is 60mm front and 40mm rear

this is his first ever car to get lowered so i was thinking would 60 front and 55 rear be ok? would it look lowered?

iv always used coilys so i can just adjust mine to suit but need to get this right as if it dont look good then i cant change it.

ah right so on your anni wheels you went down 90/80 with no rubbing at all?

the lowest i can find on ebay is 60mm.

This is correct.
Anniversary wheels fit properly, so have no rubbing inside or out...so you can go as long as you want without rubbing, on tyres up to 215/40/16.

80mm is a big drop on a strut and spring set up, I hope you're planning on uprating the struts to higher spec shortened ones as the standard pieces of sh!t won't last 5 minutes with those lowering springs on them.

ah i see. now we are getting somewhere. well dont think he is bothered about that. how low can i go on his standered struts?

Standard struts should not really go more than 40mm. As said anything will fit but life is cut drastically and you will be changing then regular.
