Conflicting info regards what you need......
« on: 09 July 2012, 19:22 »
Hi all,

Currently running a stage 1 carbon remap on everything in my signature.

Am going to be running in the next month or so the following:-
K03s with forge actuator
THS FMIC
Creation Motorsports TIP
Catch Can

Now the conflicting part do I go S3 injectors (engine is ARZ so SAAB and Calibra ones won't do) and 3" MAF?
been told standard injectors and MAF are fine, but to replace the fuel pump as my car has done 132,000

Trying to get as much as I can out of the MAP to achieve 250bhp+
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Nah it can be done mate,
A nice healthy engine with good hardware will achieve 250 plus with correct mods.

See Chris's build thread he managed it with good mods
1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

I bet it could have made 250bhp on r-tech rollers.

Water meth on aswell would have easily pissed 250bhp.

Surely all rollers should be the same?  :undecided:

should be but they aint some give a lot more than what the car actually is and some give less in theory its not always as accurate as we like to think

Interestingness...I wonder why though. I understand differences in tolerances but surely they wouldn't be like 10/20 hp difference could there?
