Rear wiper madness
« on: 17 June 2005, 12:27 »
My wiper motor and mech have been stipped out and put into a new boot lid as the old one was rotten. But since then i cannot get the wiper to function correctly. Im wanting the wiper to lay flat. I played around and got the wiper layed flat and wiping the window but it parks where ever it feels like it. Could this be a dodgy relay or have i got the linkage setup wrong? If anyone has pictures of the linkage settings on their lay flat wiper i would much apreciate it as im just guessing.

ere we go again!  Likely to be broken wire / bad connection somewhere. Check where the wire cross from boot lid to car.

I think you have misunderstood me mate. The wiper works i.e it has power and moves but it will not park correctly when layed flat.
