last week week and a half ive had to top up the power steering fluid 4 times :-/ id say i have a leak lol plus it sounds like chewbacker on ecstacy when i turn wen it dries up!! most likely places to look for a leak?

Rack costs around £150 for a refurbed one and about 4 hours to fit. Pump is £100 for a refurbed one and an hour to fit

But if you're running it with no fluid you would have probably knackered both anyway, regardless of how the fluid is being lost you've admitted it's ran dry and makes whatever noise so not a good pointer.

nah didnt run it dry as soon as i heard the noise i pulled over to have a look noticed the resavoir was quite empty so topped it up still got the bottle in the boot have to fill it up once every 4/5 days :-/
