Introduction: Prawn and the A3 track car

Hello folks, I'm Prawn, I've been browsing the site for a while, and decided it was about time I signed up!

I know a few people off the forum, and I thought I'd already registered so did a search for prawn and found a few pictures of my car on here :) but someone else has already stolen the name prawn, so Prawny it is!

My 1.8T track car:




















A very brief spec: My 98 Audi A3

Engine:
AGU engine
5 speed 02J box with Quaife ATB
ko4 2283 Hybrid
Relentless ex mani, 3'' DP / Decat into Milltek non res system
Badger5 V2 80mm Turbo intake
VR6 MAF, Bosch Green 440's
AEM progressive WMI kit
Massive FMIC, 16 row oil cooler etc etc....

Mapping by Niki at R-tech, currently at 293bhp on a mild tune due to stock rods. 329bhp achieved during dyno testing with plenty more to come.

Suspension:
Weitec Hicon GT coilovers
Solid mounted front subframe
Full Leon Cupra R running gear, hubs, wishbones, bushes, steering rack, brembo brakes, Badger5 discs and hoses, and mintex 1177 race pads.
Eibach 22mm TT front ARB
Neuspeed 32mm hollow rear ARB
6 sets of wheels, with various Slicks, Semis, wets, road tyres etc.

Inside:
Stripped out, RMD 330mm suede wheel
OMP multi point bolt in cage, gussetted into shell in 6 additional places
Rally Design 6Kg GRP seats
Prima Motorsport Titon 6 point FIA harnesses

how's the manifold holding out now the welds have been beefed up?

Thanks folks, I was wondering why all the other forums seem a bit quiet at the moment, but it seems like everyone is on here! So I thought it was about time I signed up.
