Very very nice I like that , watch that garage its a tight fit

Enjoy the Dunlops

:grin:It's not quite as tight as it looks in the pics Steve, but I do need to be a bit careful. Also with it being 3 door it's more difficult for me to get in and out in the garage.

Carpet on the walls, I've heard, works a treat!
I always have carpet on the garage wall Scott, can't risk chipping the doors. Not sure about the tennis ball on a string though

What are your initial thoughts then RickS?

Awesome springs to mind immediately; not done many miles yet but I'm also loving the DSG so far. I think it could turn out to be the best car I've ever owned.
Only slight annoyance is that the RNS510 doesn't display CD text from the remote changer [I went for the CD changer instead of MDI, possibly a mistake, but it's too late now to worry about that]
This has not even slightly diminished my enthusiasm and excitement about the car as a package though - so to sum up;  :  :drool:stunning looks,  :cool:high quality finish/feel,  :laugh:drives superbly.

What are your thoughts so far then Sunday?

Can't wait to open it up TBH, i've been taking it easy until i reach around 1000miles and then i'll give it a little blast.

MPG is creeping up, i'm getting over 30MPG now instead of mid 20's. Love the colour MFD (well worth the extra £160), still undecided on the Dynaudio.

Like you said it's a great looking car, handles superb BUT i've got a niggle at the back of my mind i should have gone for DSG. The clutch seem's different on the R, not as quiet and smooth as the GTI.

Yeah, I'm taking it easy too until I've got some miles on. Colour MFD is great, so is the Dynaudio [had it in GTI] Why are you undecided about it?
