Quick question guys
« on: 04 July 2012, 16:34 »
Hey petrol heads.

Has anyone ever fitted a front splitter to a mk4 4motion front valance? I've been toying with the idea and have asked my brother to do some concepts for me but he's struggling. Just wondering if anyone else may of done this?

Thanks

Do you mean a cupra r splitter to the valance?

Iv done it and then taken it off as it looks stupid.

It looks cool on mk5 front bumpers though

MK4's I would stick a splitter on the R line bumper only but thats my opinion.

Yeh that's the one, looks awesome. And how about adjustable front splitter?

i feel bad after that reply and the wife gave me sh!t for being a twit

but its personal choice mate and think the lcr splitter should only be used on the r32 front or the slcr anything else just dont look very good as for the adjustable splitter again its upto you as its your car but personally small subtle mods make the car look better imo

have a look at pics on various forums mate theres a few ppl who have fitted lcr splitter to standard valance etc and judge for yourself like i say its your choice what you do but my opinion would be to not fit it and just get an anni valance or 4o and leave it as it is or if you really want to fit the lcr splitter go r32 front and fit to that
