Well I personally would not use the wrong oil
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Well. Made it home no need to top up just took it steady.
Going for some quantum and a replacement gasket now.

If the oil light had come on or anything strange did happen my plan was to put the other oil in.
Rather that than kill her. Just change it straight away.

I think you made the best decision, if i remember rightly the oil sensor isnt on the bottom of the engine, so if you have no light on your dash your running low but still safe.

I use the VW quantum stuff semi synthetic for my 1.8t AGU does the job well and is handy for other VW motors. No engine problems for 2 years anyway. "Touches a large peice of wood".

Though i guess it depends how tuned up your engine is.

Ta. Pick up parts tomorrow then I'll fix it. Thought semi in a 1.8t was a no no??
