k-jet gurus kr 16v

well the car was running fine yesterday until i took it to the jet wash. after that it started cutting out then started revving to 3k rpm and staying there.
now i cleaned the isv and reset the idle and sorted that, however i now have a problem with idle when cold, not holding idle at all.
there is voltage to csv and that is working fine, i have correct ohms across wur and that is getting voltage ok. as the engine starts to warm up the idle starts to hold ok and gradually rises to 1000rpm as engine gets hotter then holds steady when engine is upto temp [this would point me at wur].
now i swapped out the wur with a known good one and its still the same dog poo when cold, fine when warm.
ive checked the sensors on the side of the head, they are all working fine, yet if i disconnect green/red sensor wire nothing happens, same with the white/blue wire.
now i only sprayed outside of car and the grille, there is no water damage that is obvious, have checked all connections and they are all dry.
i am thinking its a metering head issue but engine runs fine when hot pulls the same as before.
any ideas guys?

found the problem, the isv relay/control module which has been put by the fuse board on the mk1, has an ingress of water that has fried the circuit boards, this must have built up by water running down the cables over a period of time as i have steam cleaned engine before with no issues
waiting now for S/H part to arrive.
the drains holes in the scuttle were clear so that was not the cause, also the cable runs thru bulkhead below scuttle

The mistake you made was washing it. Gives them ideas.

Good you got it sorted though.

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.
