May I start by saying sorry for such a boring thread! When you're on a budget it's going to be!

Views over Ludlow on Saturday:

Stickered up the back window some more with a red 8v Inside intel spoof on the left and a Golf Puzzle sticker on the right! Stickers are cool, don't car what anyone says :P

Yeah but it is boring, isn't it?!?!

Trail fitted the Audi TT centre sun visor, looks cool but not big enough really!

I've got 2 of the wheels in primer but as you can see I'm not going for an amazing finish as it's really difficult sand in between all the many spokes, this is not a DIY friendly design to 're-furb'!

At least I have a great idea with the masking eh?

Made a decision on the wheels since I had some knocking about...Paint's expensive so I thought I might as well shut up and make do!

Started on the headlining too, now looks like this inside...

Out:

Stripped and ready for recovering!

For some reason I'm not allowed to keep in the front room, can't think why? So I put it in the boot of the Volvo, only gets to the front seats lol

Hey all, I've been feeling fairly rotten the last few days so not much to report at the moment.

The material came for my headlining the other day. I made a right mess of it to be honest, it was way to thick and not malleable enough! O well, at least I found out when doing this rather than on one of the tidy Volvo's headlining.

I'll get down the scrapyard and try and find a nice one, I'll ask the price before purging it from the car though lol!

Wheel preview:

It's the only one on at the moment as the damn wheel brace has rounded slightly and was skipping! But it does indeed look good my thinks!

Random woodland shot:

Gathered some goodies:

Got the Bilt Hamber Clay Bar for £10.88 delivered from ebay,
The Gtechniq C4 direct from them for £23.69 to see what all the fuss is about,
Also got the Meguiar’s Ultimate Starter Kit as I heard good things about their Tyre Gel for  £16.99 delivered,
Also some new 55mm centre caps for £4.99!

Right then guys, I found a different wheel brace so put the other wheels on it today.

Look how stiff the rear suspension is!

Anyway...

I'm very happy with my £32 wheels, about £10 on materials. Should be able to sell the old rims for more than that :D

As you can tell from the pics I've got some serious motivation issues and still haven't fitted the new arch trims I got or given it the polish it really needs. She will come out very nice when I'm done though ;)

Since the wheel change this car has really livened up at speed, maybe due to the removal of the shims on the front?
Went to Birmingham the other day in it, performed faultlessly of course!

Got these today:

Not too sure if I like them tbh!
