yeah thats a good one to have so many micky mouse tyres out there I wish dot dates were more clear no point in buying tyres that will crack after six months :rolleyes:

But discussions with the EU will come skidding to a halt when they can't decide on the colour scheme... 

And Halfords will sell aftermarket touch up paint so we can colour code our tyre stickers to our cars...

I thinks it's a good thing, give you more choice and more of an idea rather than a gazillion Joe Blogs reviews.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Problem,s are that the label,s are self cert ,, so indian made wanli can make an A grade tyre an joe bloggs in his mondeo will think its the badgers :)

Second the wet grip,,,,Ok so where is the dry grip rating ? Also the road noise is external so makes absolutly no difference to you as a driver ,,good idea, applied badly !

Road noise is the last thing I think about when buying tyres. If they grip well n last I don't care how loud they are from the outside!

Good idea tho for the daily driver who doesn't know feck all about cars
