Going to change my carere ( oil rigs )

Just done the relavent corses to get me out there, but I need my CV to be as good as I can get it to make me stand out from the 100's others appying!


Any pointers?!

does this seem right for my cover letter, as the cv is going to take a few hours

Re: Position ********* Reference No. *********

The job above advertised, I have no offshore experience at this moment in time, but have all the relevant courses ready to get offshore as soon as possible, such as BOSIET, MIST and an offshore medical all with many years’s left till expiry.
You can understand how difficult it is to get offshore without any experience but I am a keen learner and can be available when ever needed, situated 30 minutes from Gatwick and 1 hour from London Heathrow travel links to Aberdeen, and Norwich are in close distances to me.

I am currently employed which I need to give 2 weeks’ notice for, but please get in contact at your earliest opportunity to discuss this opportunity/role/position further to eliminate any possible job losses.
