I sunk my SII
« on: 30 June 2012, 12:41 »
 absolutely fuming with myself, never do I take my phone in the bathroom apart from today nor do I rarely take a bath (Im a shower man through and though) untill today and Yes....

bloody sods law my phone vibrates of the bath cabinet and into the bath  Generally canot believe it, It was a bit odd as I slowly saw it fell and tried to catch it but just didnt happen, obviously got it straight out and dried it. at this point the phone still was visibly turned on under water as you could see the back ground and was still on untill I ripped the battery out and dried as best as I could too dry/blow the water out!

What do you think the possibility of it working again is?  :lipsrsealed:

Its currently submurge in a container full or rice in the airing cupboard with the battery sim etc all taken out

Leave it there for a few days, my youngest poured half a bottle of fairy liquid over her sisters phone and dropped it in the sink full of water. Still works, as best a £30 PAYG POS can. She did have 'water' marks behind the screen but that cleared after a few days use.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I stick them in a plastic box on the radiator with a big pouch of silica gel like what you get in packing crates.
Works every time, except when it fell into a pint of water as I slept :lipsrsealed:
