Is it not just the GTD that is encrypted? To be fair its not just the Bluefin that wouldn't work it would be all of them as the ECU would have to physically come out and have some surgery.

With bluefin, can this be returned to stock at any time? And what makes this better in your opinion? Besides from the price...?

The fact you get a handset that can allow the car to be put to standard at will, and also if you have any problems etc, or there are any updates to the map, you update it over the Internet and reapply to the car.

The revo switch also allows you to revert back to a stock map at will. There is also a anti-theft mode where the car will not move even if you have the key

Revo stock map is a revo map not actual stock map.

So even worse if you want to keep the original map on your car. My understanding is that Bluefin is the only one that does store your original map?

That or if you use an Alientech Powergate device (similar concept to the Bluefin).  That stores your original map and up to two other maps

yes.. thats why I put 'a stock map' and not the original map. Not there will be much difference drive wise
