The difference between the 'W' & the 'V' is the speed rating - the 'W' is a higher speed rating. Potentially the difference in tyre tread patterns & speed ratings could impact how the car handles or brakes, especially when on the limit.
If this was the case then it would be an MOT fail. The speed ratings arent a problem since the lowest one is 170mph.
